The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is the dense population of predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which often requires a trained eye to spot.

We will stop and enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater and then proceed with the game drive until late evening. Our African safari adventure will end back in Arusha town

Meet our professional tour guide/driver in Arusha town, who will deliver a short safari info briefing over breakfast. Afterwards, travel with your guide to the famous Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive.

Itineraries

Day 1

Arusha – Drive to Ngorongoro

0830 Hours – After breakfast from your hotel, depart Arusha and head to Ngorongoro Crater by road with designated photo-shoot stops of the scenic caldera floor and surrounding plains. With picnic lunch, descend into the crater for entire day game drive. Break for lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. Later proceed to Ngorongoro Simba Campsite which is located on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite. Overnight at Dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite. Meal Plan {Lunch & Dinner}

Day 2

Explore Ngorongoro Crater

0630 – 0730 Hours : Breakfast and depart with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour, Explore the crater which home to a thriving and abundant concentration of resident wild game. Picnic lunch at crater floor at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. Ngorongoro is the only place one would expect for sure to see the endangered rhino. Not only does the crater sustain a plethora of animals it also offers colorful birds of all sorts. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Simba Campsite. Day 3

Ngorongoro – Drive to Arusha Town

After breakfast depart for Arusha arriving by lunch time. Meal Plan {Breakfast}
