4 Days Maasai Mara Migration Safari

Early morning arrival in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or meet with your safari guide at your hotel. Full briefing then depart for Masai Mara National Reserve. Descend into the Great Rift Valley with views of Mt. Longonot and other escarpments on a clear morning, stopping at the view point for photos before continuing to Masai Mara via Narok town arriving in time for lunch at the camp. Spend the afternoon at leisure at the camp and embark on an evening game drive in the Masai Mara in search of the big five and other game, which are easily spotted during the migration season.

Dinner and overnight at budget camp

Breakfast and exit the camp with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara Reserve, searching for the Big 5 and other animals.
You will drive to the bank of River mara to witness the 7th wonder of the world, wildebeest migration, and the Mara River crossing. This phenomenon is just great.

Later you will drive back to the camp for the dinner and overnight.

Today’s program is also very flexible; you can choose between three options.

Option 1: Breakfast and exit the lodge with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara Reserve, searching for the Big 5 and other animals.

Option 2: You may opt to have an early morning game drive in search of the big cat and the killings, return for breakfast, freshen up, and spend the rest of the mid-morning at your leisure, either swimming in the pool or just relaxing. Later have lunch and proceed for the evening game drive around 4 pm, searching for Big five and other animals.

Option 3: Go on for an optional hot air balloon ride (USD 430pp) in the early morning, followed by mid-morning game drives before driving to the lodge for lunch. Later have an afternoon game drive together with an optional Masai village visit.

After the game drive, you will head to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Morning game drives then proceed to Nairobi to arrive by 1600 hrs where the safari ends.
