You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel after breakfast or at the airport at 7:00 am and drive through the spectacular Great Rift Valley with a stop-over at the escarpment viewpoint point en-route to Masai Mara. You will arrive in time for lunch at the Camp.
Masai Mara is world famous for the annual great wildebeest migration that takes place in July and August where close to a million wildebeest close to the Mara River in search of pasture. Late afternoon, you will enjoy your first evening game drive. Our guide will take you through the reserve where you will be surprised by the high concentration of wild animals in this reserve. Here herds of elephants roam freely, wildebeests, buffalos, impalas, Thomson’s gazelles and zebras graze in their numbers. Big cats are not hard to spot either including the elusive leopards, it is one of the few places you are guaranteed to spot the famous Big Five on a single morning or afternoon.
Overnight and dinner at the camp
You will start the day in this haven of wildlife with an early morning game drive. You’ll return to the Lodge/Camp for breakfast. You’ll spend the morning at leisure with an optional visit to the Maasai village. Have lunch and you’ll spend the afternoon at leisure. Late afternoon you will enjoy your evening game drive.
This reserve is not only the most popular game reserve in the country, it is probably why people visit Kenya. The reserve is set on a classic African savannah and the huge density of wildlife is astounding. Zebras, wildebeests and gazelles graze in large herds and as a matter of fact where prey is in plenty so are the predators.
Overnight and dinner at the Camp
After your early morning breakfast, we check out from camp in Masai Mara with an exit game drive as we proceed for Lake Naivasha. We arrive accommodation in Naivasha just in time for lunch.
After lunch, we take a boat ride to enjoy bird watching and sightings of hippopotamus. Tour shall be followed by a visit to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. Crescent Island hosts grazers like the Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Common Waterbuck and Buffalo. After the amazing full day adventure, you will return to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay
Overnight and dinner at Naivasha camp/hotel
After breakfast, we transfer to Hell’s Gate National Park for bicycle ride experience in the wilderness of Hell’s Gate National Park . You can also opt to walk or drive on your safari mini bus. Hell’s Gate National Park is small and the only national park in Kenya that can be explored by foot or cycle. Resident wildlife include; Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Warthog and Buffalo.
A bicycle ride with sightings of Zebra and Giraffe is a beautiful experience. After collecting half day memories we head to the Hell’s Gate Gorge where our guide will take you through the stories of the gorge and as you trek the mighty gorge.
After trekking the gorge, we shall head back to Nairobi.
