Amboseli National Park famous for its views of large elephants herds is located 160 miles from Nairobi. It offers stunning view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. As well as its famously photogenic elephants, Amboseli is also home to heavyweight predators like lion, leopard, hyena and cheetah, as well as their prey such as buffalo, giraffe, impala, zebra, cheetah, giraffes and antelope.
Amboseli boosts rich bird life, with over 400 bird species recorded, including the globally threatened Madagascar Pond-Heron, Lesser Flamingo, Lesser Kestrel, and Possibly Africa’s most sought-after bird, the Shoebill which has a one-time record in the area and over 40 birds of prey.
Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephants, rhinos, Hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.
Visit attractions such as Mzima Springs to watch the hippos bathing underwater, visit the Lava flows and caves for geological interest; explore the caves, or hike along with the lava flow.
The cliff faces in Tsavo West offer some of the best rock climbing in Kenya.

Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania.
We depart by road for Tsavo West National Park. Arrive in time for lunch then an optional afternoon or evening game drive. Tsavo West is the most visited section in Tsavo National Park, offering many attractions apart from its wildlife.
The foremost is the famous Mzima Springs where up to 227.3 million litres of cool crystal clear water flows out of the ground through porous volcanic rocks. The water is believed to originate from Chuyulu Hills, via an underground river.

After breakfast, we have a full day game drive, packed lunch provided. Other interesting places to visit are the Roaring Rocks, which get their name from the wind that hurtles through them. From here there are wonderful views over Tsavo from the top of a 98m rock face; similar views can be experienced from the poachers’ lookout.
The volcanic Chaimu Crater, less than 200years old and composed of black coke, is worth visiting and can be climbed if one is interested. You can also visit.
Mzima is one of Tsavo’s most popular wildlife attractions owing to its resident populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles.

After Breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, check-in at your accommodation, a day spent at leisure. Amboseli National Park is situated due south of Nairobi, Most of the park consists of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grassland with patches of acacia woodland, while in the southern area there is a number of small rocky volcanic hills.
Around the swamps Ol Okenya, Ol Tukai and Enkongo Narok, the vegetation is lush with yellow barked acacias and phoenix palms. Expect to see Elephant, Giraffe, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeast & Hippo.

The whole day will be spent in the Amboseli National Park with the morning and evening game drives. Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early morning.
Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds, you will also see buffalos, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plains animals and birds.
